BBB (alter ego of Chris Davison) lives on the banks of the river Tyne, UK, and has been making music all of his life, from performances with his old man (a preacher) as an 11 year old to his first band gig at the age of 14 through to his various projects today.
He records and releases his own material as Bad Bob Bates and performs solo and in a range of bands, as the gig guide shows.

West Brook & Swamp Tea – southern states funk rock and blues
The Bandits – UK style classic R’n’B
Oil City Shakers – proto blues footstompin duo – guitars, slide, harp, foot drums
BBB loves a wide range of music from hard rock to blues rock, americana, country, punk and spacerock, plus “all the good stuff” from soul and electronica. Crossover styles tend to appeal the most and he’s always up for a project.
